My favorite movie

My favorite movies are the trilogy of “The lord of the rings”. These are 3 movies of fantasy, action and adventures based on the homonymous novel of the writer J. R. R. Tolkien. The novel narrates the travel of the main protagonist, Frodo Baggins, who is a Hobbit of the Shire, to destroy the Ring of Power, and the war that will provoke the enemy to recover it, since it is the main source of power of its creator, the Dark Lord Sauron. These movies were directed by Peter Jackson and the music was composed by Howard Shore. The main actors are Elijah Wood as Frodo, Ian McKellen as Gandalf and Sean Astin as Samsagaz. The scene of the movie that I like the most is “the last march of the Ents” in the movie “The Lord of the Rings: The two towers”, where the Ents march towards the fort of Saruman in Isengard, because the troops of Saruman have cut down many trees and therefore, killed a large number of Ents. Postgraduate studies.

In the future, I would like to study a postgraduate course in orchestral direction. My reason for to do this course is because since I was a child I like the orchestral direction, I think orchestra director is very important in the work of orchestra, and I admire the work they do. For this reason, I would like to be an orchestral director. In this course I would like to study subjects about orchestral direction techniques, score analysis, about the repertoire, styles and techniques of orchestral music. But in this course, I would like to learn more than just the technical and musical subjects that are indispensable for directing a group, also, I would like to create new projects and contribute to the cultural development of the place where I work professionally. I have thought about to do this course at the Universidad de Chile, here this course is a regular course, it isn't a distance learning course or with a blended system. My future job

In the future, the kind of job I would like to have is one in which I can teach something related to any of the careers I study, music theory or viola classes. I think that teaching is very gratifying, and I enjoy teaching a lot. Another thing that I would like to work is playing viola in an orchestra, I don’t know how feasible that is, but if I could do it, it would be something I would enjoy too. If this were my job, obviously I would like to travel a lot, play in different cities and meet new people and new places. About salary, I haven't thought much about that. I don't expect to earn a lot of money, I am satisfied with what is necessary to lead a quiet life. For me is more important to enjoy what I do. Up to this moment, this is what I have thought about the work that I would like to have in the future, that is why I plan to get the title of professor specializing in music theory in a few years. But, there are still many years to finish my university studies...

My favourite animals

I like a lot of animals of different types, but my favourite animals in the world are cats, dogs, hedgehogs. All of them are very different of each other, but each one of them have something that makes them special. I like cats because these are very loving and funny. Cats always are playing or doing something funny. These run for the house or in the streets, or throw and broke objects from the tables, or play with anything at them fingertips. Another reason I like cats is them fur. Cat’s fur is really soft and there are a lot of colours and types, there can be short or large, straight or curly, or some cats don’t have fur. No matter how these are, all cats are pretty. I really love cats. Others of my favourite animals are dogs. I like dogs because these are very playful and these always are happy to see you. My cat, Chos

My cat, Chos, is the queen of the house. She is 10 years old and she came to the family when  she was a little cat.The Chos's fur is black and white and very soft, her nose is small and black, and her eyes are brown and very beautiful. Also,Chos has 2 big ears and very large whiskers. She is really pretty. Chos's favorite activities are eating and sleeping. She is very lazy and sleepy. She isn't very playful and she has reject all the toys I have buy for her. She always prefer take a nap. Chos eats twice a day. She eats wet food because she is very old and has fragile teeth. Chos loves to eat directly from the food container and not use her plate. At night, Chos sleeps in my bed or in my brother's bed because she doesn't like her bed and she never use it. Everyday, at 6:00 o'clock, Chos wake up and she says meow for food, then, she eats a little bit of food and she sleeps again in mom's bed. She sleeps very much. In the house, everybody love Chos. The best holiday

The best holiday I had was in Neltume 5 years ago. Neltume is a little town in the south of Chile, near Panguipulli. I travelled with my family and a friend in the summer of this year. Neltume is a very quiet place and it has amazing landscapes and very nice people. It is one of the most beautiful places where I have spent my holidays. In Neltume there are many things to do. When we went to Neltume we visited Salto del Huilo- Huilo, this is a beautiful waterfall of clear water. Also, that summer we visited Pirihueico lake and we cross the lake in a boat. Another thing you can do here is to visit the river that crosses the town and swim in its waters, and you can ski in the snow of the Choshuenco volcano. Neltume is a quiet town but with many attractions. I really liked going to Neltume and I hope to return one day. If you can visit it, you must do it, you will not regret it. This was the best holiday of my life.

A country I'd like to visit

Hello everybody! I would like to go to Perú, because I have a friend that live there and I would like to visit him. He lives in Lima with his family and I would like to meet them. My friend tells me about Perú and his city, Lima. He says Lima isn´t a beautiful city and it don’t have many places to visit. I don’t know if that is true, but anyway I would like to go to Lima to visit my friend. If I could go to Perú I would like my friend to take me on a tour by the city. I would like to know if that he tells me about the city is true or not. Also, I would like to eat typical Peruvian food, my friend says that their food is delicious. I am saving money to go there for a week the next summer, I hope saving enough money! I’m very excited to see my friend again!
